This delicious chicken recipe is packed with flavour. Its tender and juicy and has just the right combination of garlic and lemon.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the ingredients for the marinade (yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, tomato paste, all the seasoning and salt/pepper) and mix to combine.
  2. Place the chicken cubes in the same bowl and coat the chicken in the marinade. Cover, and let rest/marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours, if not overnight.
  3. Thread the chicken on skewers right before grilling. Add one wedge of onion, or a button mushroom or a piece of capsicum to each skewer, if desired.
  4. Grill on medium heat for 5-8 minutes per side.
  5. Serve with arabic bread, hommos and garlic sauce, if desired. Also goes great with a fattoush salad.

Notes

If you have any leftovers, the grilled chicken is great in sandwiches the next day.
