7 Must Pack Items for a Trip to the Bahamas

April 17, 2018 by Nicole O'Neil in Live

Whilst Adam, the girls and I are currently in Miami, our trip to the incredible Bahamas is still fresh in my mind - so I thought it would be the perfect time to share what I think are the MUST PACK items for a trip to the Bahamas (or any beachside holiday!).

It's no secret that I am NOT someone who packs light - but these are 7 items you cannot leave home without!

Sunglasses

Forever my favourite accessory, a trip to the Bahamas is the perfect chance to show off your sunglasses collection!

Swimsuits

Notice how I said swimsuits, plural. Chances are you'll be doing a lot of swimming during your trip to the Bahamas - so you want to pack at least 2 swimsuits. This way you always have a swimsuit that's dry and ready to go!

A Kaftan or Coverup

You won't be in the water 24/7 - but you will probably be by it most of the time. A kaftan or coverup is perfect for throwing on over your swimsuit as you're walking around the beach or hotel or stopping for a casual lunch or drink at the bar.

A Beach Tote

Bring along a tote bag or bag that you can bring with you to the beach or pool - this way all of your stuff is in one place, and you're not ruining your favourite handbag with sand or chlorine!

A Sun Hat

Sun protection is so important - and a great sunhat won't only protect your face and neck, it's a stylish accessory too.

Something to Wear Out

A trip to the Bahamas isn't all swimming and relaxing on a deck chair, with so many incredible restaurants and bars, you'll want to make sure you experience the nightlife too!

Be sure to pack a few outfits you can wear out. Maxi dresses, jumpsuits and summery prints are definitely fan favourites here!

Sandals

Let's be real - wearing sneakers on the beach is a logistical nightmare - so your trip to the Bahamas will be all about the sandals! Bring along at least two pairs - flats for the day and trips to the beach and a pair of heeled sandals for evenings out!
