This past weekend, we celebrated Neve's 12th birthday with a Hawaiian themed Luau Pool Party. With Hawaii one of our family's favourite holiday destinations, we were excited to transform our backyard into a little Hawaiian paradise.
Swimming is hungry work - so we made sure all of Neve's party guests had plenty of snack options with a Hawaiian themed snack table.
The table was decorated with a hula skirt style table skirt (you could also use hula skirts laid flat and pinned to the edge of the table), colourful leis and colourful metal buckets were used to hold various snacks.
Here are some of the essentials if you want to replicate this table for your own party. Click below to shop/find out more:
The snacks continued on the other side of the table with lots of fun Hawaiian inspired treats. A 3 tiered tray added height to the table and held all of our snacks - from Chocolate Crackles and Honey Joys
To "Pineapple" donuts (simply stick a cardboard pineapple crown into the top of your favourite donuts)
To fairy bread stars (because it's not an Australian party without fairy bread!)...
To beautiful tropical themed cookies from Sweetcheeks Cookies and Cakes.
Even our drinks were themed with these Pineapple cups and colourful paper straws.
At the end of the party, Neve blew out the candles on her beautiful Pineapple Cake from Quincy Lane.
And each guest headed home with a pineapple printed canvas bag (similar bags available here), filled with lollies and shell bracelets.
And we can't forget Adam - who is such a great Dad he even lets Neve share his birthday ;)
It was a perfect day celebrating our Hawaiian princess!
