Saint Valentine's Day
The day of love, Valentine’s Day is a holiday traditionally celebrated on February 14th by lovers around the world.
Whilst originally rooted in pagan ritual, in recent times the holiday has become a hugely commercial venture with millions of chocolates, cards and flowers exchanged between lovers and admirers. Regardless of which tradition you follow, the romantic holiday of Valentine’s Day remains rife with mystery and love.
For me, Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to get creative and plan something special. My girls and I got together to create some special DIY Printable Valentines Cards and I rounded up some of my favourite ways to celebrate the “day of love” below!
DIY Cards
Designed especially for nicoleoneil.com by myself and my girls, Nawal and Neve, these cards can be printed on A4 paper and personalised individually.
They’re a cute craft idea for children to distribute at school – or to send to a secret admirer or two!
Guide to Paris
Paris is known as the city of love – so what better time to visit that with loved ones on Valentine’s Day?
A few years ago, Adam and I celebrated Valentine’s Day with a weekend in Paris and it was an incredible experience. Be sure to take a look at my Paris favourites so you can plan your own adventures in the city of love!
Dinner for Two
With restaurants jam packed with tables for two and set menus, there’s no better way to say “I love you” that with a beautiful home cooked dinner for two.
Single? Show yourself some love or multiply these recipes to serve a crowd of beloved friends.
