Fun:
This week I had the pleasure of meeting HRH Princess Tatiana of Greece and Denmark along with her husband HRH Prince Nikolaos of Greece and Denmark.
Tatiana was in Sydney to launch her new cookbook, A Taste of Greece; Recipes, Cuisine and Culture with an event and book signing at Peter's of Kensington.
I also had the pleasure of having dinner with Tatiana and Nikolaos earlier in the week at Bar Machiavelli - and it's there that I really discovered what an incredible and interesting woman Tatiana is.
Not only does she love cooking, she is passionate about entertaining and previously worked as an event planner for fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg. We had a lot more in common than I expected as Tatiana has also had somewhat of a global upbringing - being born in Venezuala, raised in Switzerland, living in Greece and being raised by parents who were born in Munich and Slovenia.
Freedom:
You've got to love that long weekend feeling! Freedom for the alarm!!
Food:
The temperatures have dropped in Sydney this week and I am craving all the warm and comforting foods. What better dessert for these cool winter days than pie? Especially with these clever tricks!
Family:
Our house is looking more and more like a home every day and we are all getting very excited! It's been such a long and often frustrating process, but I know it will be so worth it once we move in!
