Be Inspired: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Themed Baby Shower
I love any excuse for a celebration - but I am all the more excited when it comes to planning a celebration for my loved ones. Last week, my Mum and I hosted a celebration for my sister Nora who is soon to be a Mum for the very first time.
As we don't yet know if the newest addition to our family is a boy or girl, we went with a neutral theme and one that Nora will also be using in her nursery;
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, do you know how loved you are?
The decorations all started with a custom made neon sign, created by Signkiosk, which Nora will also use in her nursery.
We then filled the room with an incredible balloon arrangement by Michelle from Party Splendour and plenty of star inspired decorations.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by the sounds of the incredible Scott Finnie (The Piano Man) at the piano - a true Sydney icon.
Inside the room was lit by candlelight and twinkling fairy lights with golden star mobiles dangling from the ceiling. Huge banquet tables were decorated with layer upon layer of tulle and lit with twinkling fairy lights underneath.
The menu for the night was created and catered by JunEdelmuth Catering and featured canapes and both a sweet and savoury buffet.

And because there is no such thing as too much dessert in my world, I also had Quincy Lane create a variety of star themed desserts, including; cookie pops, chocolate mini Cupcakes topped with champagne flavoured swiss meringue buttercream & edible gold and silver glitter and little meringue kisses topped with gold star sprinkles.
Each guest went home with a Twinkle Twinkle Little Star themed party favour; a Soi Handbag Light, placed in a black gift box, wrapped with sparkly tulle and finished with a gold star thank you note.
It was a beautiful night for a beautiful Mum to be!
