The Real Housewives of Sydney Season 1 Episode 10 Recap

Find out what happened on The Real Housewives of Sydney Series 1 Episode 10 as housewife cast member Nicole O'Neil shares her recap and behind the scenes gossip her Food Truck Fund Charity Event, Matty's Forever Young Pillow Launch and more.

The Episode opens with Victoria and her girlfriend Marilyn going for a walk on one of Sydney’s most iconic trails; the Bondi to Bronte walk.

Victoria and Marilyn Walk Bondi to Bronte - The Real Housewives of Sydney Episode 10 Recap Season 1

Victoria has a chance to debrief about the dramas of Singapore. The trip was such a tumultuous time for Victoria. She met her sister for the very first time and dealing with the drama of the group on top of that really seemed to take its toll. I can certainly see why she is reticent to continue to put herself in the crossfire. I think I’d stand back as well.

Nicole Video Chats with Adam - The Real Housewives of Sydney Episode 10 Recap Season 1

Dress: ZimmermannEarrings: Bowerhaus

I have a similar conversation with Adam via Skype, but he knows there is so much more to talk about than the sordid details of petty rivalries amongst the girls.

He quickly changes the conversation to more pressing concerns about my upcoming charity event- The Food Truck Fund. As a long time supporter and friend of Dr Charlie Teo, our inaugural event was in support of the incredibly worthy Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. Given how fortunate we all are, I feel it is very important to contribute towards our society in whichever way we can. Whether it is through volunteering our time and/or raising money to support worthy causes, there are so many ways to give back. It’s good for the soul.

Adam is concerned to find out how ticket sales are going and admittedly at that point, just a few days out from the event, I was really concerned that only 200 out of the 750 tickets had been sold. The event was pulled together in only 5 weeks and I really felt we were pressed for time. But, together with our committee, we knew we had a big job ahead of us and Adam’s support and encouragement meant the world to me.

Matty sets up for her Forever Young Event - The Real Housewives of Sydney Episode 10 Recap Season 1

In this episode, we also see Matty then host the launch of her Forever Young by Matty sleep pillow. In true Matty style, the pillow launch was none other than a pyjama party!

Despite admitting to nerves, Matty spoke beautifully and after so many years of developing the pillow it must have been such a special moment for her. That moment of achievement and quiet satisfaction was quickly taken away from her, however, when AthenaX removed the microphone from her hands and made a bizarre speech with a miniature religious pillow.

Naturally, the attendees were left confused and unsure of how to respond. I believed AthenaX to be completely out of line and her behaviour again was completely inappropriate.

Girls at Matty's Event - The Real Housewives of Sydney Episode 10 Recap Season 1

In an ironic twist of events, Lisa handcuffs herself and then, in an act that far exceeds anything that Krissy has been accused of doing, literally manhandles and rubs herself up against one of the waiters. It is clear from her nervous giggles that she was actually enjoying herself too!

Lisa and AthenaX then start confronting the other girls about their unhappiness about Victoria being a no-show on the last night of dinner in Singapore. It is clear that they have an idea about confronting Victoria and that they have no intention of backing down from that position.

Lisa and David get Counselling - The Real Housewives of Sydney Episode 10 Recap Season 1

Over at Lisa’s house, David and Lisa are televising their marriage counselling session. It is really upsetting and disturbing to hear Lisa admit and have confirmed by David that she feels a disconnection from her own family.

No parent should feel this way.

My heart breaks for the two of them. This is not a healthy environment for anyone and I really hope they are able to find a way to emerge from this sad stalemate to face their struggles.

Nicole, Nora, Nawal and Neve prepare for The Food Truck Fund - The Real Housewives of Sydney Episode 10 Recap Season 1

The day has finally come, the 1st of December 2016, and after 5 tireless weeks, the day of The Food Truck Fund has arrived! We woke up to a spectacular, sunny, bright Sydney day. I knew my Dad was smiling down on us.

Thankfully, in the morning, The Food Truck Fund website crashed, as many people waited to buy tickets at the last minute and we actually sold out! What a relief!

Nicole and the girls at The Food Truck Fund Event - The Real Housewives of Sydney Episode 10 Recap Season 1

The whole event was underwritten by some amazing and generous sponsors so every cent raised on the day went straight to finding a cure for brain cancer. The event was held at Robertson Park in Watson’s Bay, and consisted of 12 food trucks, a cocktail truck and some games for the children.

Melissa sings at The Food Truck Fund Event - The Real Housewives of Sydney Episode 10 Recap Season 1

It was so amazing and generous of Melissa to have sung at our event. We were so thrilled and the 750-strong crowd loved her and were all singing along to her well-known and unforgettable hits.

Victoria's "intervention" at The Food Truck Fund Event - The Real Housewives of Sydney Episode 10 Recap Season 1

I thought it was very inappropriate that Lisa and AthenaX decided that it was there and then to address their concerns about Victoria.

Really? And then they continued to be angry with Krissy about not staging an intervention for Victoria. As far as I’m concerned, Lisa and AthenaX continue to make a mountain out of a molehill.

Their timing was appalling and I was rather annoyed, as I would have loved to go and mingle with my family, friends and other guests than be dealing with their concerns. Honestly, they don't know who to blame first- Victoria the supposed evader or Krissy the supposed enabler?!

As Lisa ponders the question of whether there is in fact a good or bad time to stage an intervention, she very sadly arrives at the wrong conclusion. No! It is in fact not appropriate to stage an intervention at a charity event! Lisa and AthenaX’s insistence on staging an intervention for someone who doesn’t go to a dinner is a tad overzealous and perhaps it is possible that Lisa and AthenaX are residing together somewhere in that fifth dimension. It’s all too much to bear and I need a taco!

And just like that, we're almost at the end of The Real Housewives of Sydney's first season. But before we get to next week's episode (and the final episode of the season!!!), I have lots to share with you tomorrow in my Behind the Scenes post - so be sure to check back and see what I've shared!

Until then,
