And just like that, we're finished with episode eight!
We start the episode with a wonderful showcase of the glamourous Sydney Polo in Centennial Park. A day at the polo in Sydney is all about combining the appreciation for the historic and traditional game of polo whilst enjoying the people watching and a fantastic day of fun and fashion.
Krissy, Matty and Victoria certainly appeared to do all that and more as they chatted and sipped on Pol Roger at the VIP marquee.
Once again, Matty's heels took centre stage as she defied the wedge brief and opted for her wardrobe staple.
From the glamour of the polo, we turn to the serenity and gale-force winds of the cliff edge, where AthenaX and Lisa put OH&S limits to the test. I feel like this part of the episode needs a "WARNING! Do not try this at home" disclaimer because they were sitting far too close to the edge in my opinion!
AthenaX and Lisa debrief about what Lizzie Buttrose reported back to them from the Wrinkles Schminkles Charity Event. Regardless of what was discussed, I still think Lizzie Buttrose behaved appallingly at the charity event and I'm sure the Levendi necklace would have fetched far more had Lizzie not carried on.
We then head to Krissy's dog walk for The Wishing Well Foundation; an organisation that provides a range of therapy options for children in foster and residential care. It was a bright and sunny Sunday morning and there was an incredible turnout to support Krissy and this amazing cause as we walked from Rose Bay to Double Bay with our dogs.
Victoria's absence was quickly noticed, particularly by Krissy who couldn't conceal her hurt and disappointment. I completely understand why Krissy was upset. There was no excuse for Victoria not being there to support her.
Oversleeping isn't an excuse; she should have set an alarm!
I hadn't seen AthenaX since the Persian Party so I was anxious to see her, as I really didn't know how I could move forward with her without an apology. She had really hurt me with her actions and her words at our last few encounters and I really didn't ever feel like interacting with her again.
Thankfully, AthenaX gave me a treasured book of forgiveness and apologised for her behaviour at both Vine and the Persian Party. I graciously accepted her gift and apology and chose to move on from everything as I really didn't want to hold onto any negativity.
That said, I'll definitely be on guard with her. I can forgive, but I don't forget... I'm not that naive.
It is heartbreaking watching Lisa break down in front of her marriage counsellor whilst conveying the depth of the troubles and sadness she is facing in her marriage. I was pleased ot see that Lisa heeded my advice, and is finally getting the help she so desperately needs, and that both Lisa and David will be seeking counselling together as a couple to hopefully find a way of moving forward, whether that is together or separately, rather than coexisting in this toxic holding pattern.
Victoria makes contact with her sister Lucy, who lives in the UK. I was thrilled to hear Victoria invite Lucy to meet us in Singapore as it really seems like the perfect meeting point halfway between Australia and the UK.
Happily, Lucy thinks it's a great idea and you could see the joy on Victoria's face. What an incredible thing to be able to make a connection with a sister you never even knew you had! I am also looking forward to meeting Lucy, as I've heard so much about her lately.

I accompany Melissa to her shoot with Daniel Boey, the fashion designer who invited Melissa to Singapore. Daniel is compiling a book on the fashion industry and designed a mystery outfit for Melissa to showcase in it.
Melissa really struck a chord with Daniel because they have both been in the industry for such a long time - and have survived the cutthroat world that it is.
After Melissa's comic foreboding about muff covers, we really were a little bit afraid when Daniel asked Melissa if she was willing to take risks and step out of her comfort zone!
We had to laugh when, after days of watching what she was eating, Melissa was required to wear a large voluminous dress (no starving necessary!). It was great to watch Melissa at the shoot and to see her work completed successfully.
We head to Marina Bay Sands which has the most breathtaking views of Singapore. We take in the sunset over a pre-dinner cocktail and everyone is in a great mood. At this point, I really thought there was a chance that we could have a peaceful night!
AthenaX approaches Krissy for advice on how to deal with Victoria since she is now her closest friend in the group. I think it's a positive step in trying to move forward past the events that have transpired so far between them.
Krissy gives AthenaX good advice about trying to relax and enjoy herself - rather than go on the defensive or misinterpret people's words or actions.
Rather than moving forward, both AthenaX and Victoria decided that this was the most appropriate time and place for them to address their differences...
Not a coffee in Sydney before we left.... not on the plane to Singapore where they could have sat and chatted for 9 hours.... not at breakfast at the hotel when we landed.... no, they decided the best time to face each other was at dinner on the first night we were all together.
It completely baffles me and shows that the likelihood of the two of them ever seeing eye to eye is slim.
Things really took a turn for the worse when Victoria raises the issue of Lizzie Buttrose being sent by Lisa and AthenaX to cause trouble at her event.
As we now know, Lisa had organised for Lizzie to sabotage the event - but when Victoria suggested that she was sent by both AthenaX and Lisa, AthenaX got that crazy look in her eyes and we knew that she was on her way to escalating the situation beyond the realms of normal reactions...
AthenaX may not have given the direct order - but she certainly knew about it and didn't stop the attack, so to get caught up in semantics seems immature and pointless in hindsight. The attacks both ways were relentless and the rest of us were becoming very uncomfortable as the tension was rising, voices were getting louder and the language was getting nastier.
At Victoria's breaking point, she stood to leave and threw the napkin at AthenaX - and then the drama really escalated.
The napkin throwing was only the beginning - and before we knew it, three glasses of alcohol had been thrown back and forth as Matty, Krissy, Melissa and I tried our best to duck for cover.
I was so upset and humiliated by that point. I was embarrassed for both of the girls and simply could not believe how appallingly their behaviour was. Clearly they hadn't learnt anything from what had previously transpired.
I just couldn't wrap my head around what had happened - and we had another 7 days together....
Before we get to the next seven days, I'll be sharing some behind the scenes photos and stories tomorrow in my behind the scenes post - so be sure to check back for that as we count down the days 'til episode nine!
