Travel Essentials I Won’t Leave Home Without
Another day, another flight! As I’ve spent the last few months between Australia, New York and the UK I have had plenty of time to perfect my carry on must haves - and I have a few new items to share.
From my own BonPatch to my must have makeup products, a few clever travel hacks and my favourite luggage, I wanted to share all of the travel essentials I won’t leave home without.
A Black Silk Pillowcase is one of my favourite travel hacks. Even if it’s for one night only, I can’t sleep without these pillowcases and the black colour ensures it doesn’t get mixed up with the hotel laundry.
If I want to sleep on the plane, I always make sure I have my BonPatch Sleep Patches, but if i’m trying to stay awake on the flight to fit in with my next time zone, you’ll always find me applying my BonPatch Vitality Patches for an energy boost.
I try to keep everything organised in my bags (as I am a chronic overpacker!) by using Packing Cubes and have collected so many of these Anya Hindmarch Mesh Pouches over the years for my cosmetics, sunglasses and more.
I also always travel with my iON8 drink bottle to refill once through security and add these magnesium drops to boost hydration
A cashmere travel blanket is another must have - inflight air-conditioning can be really cold, so there is nothing more comforting than to wrap myself with a warm blanket, that I can double up as a shawl on the holiday. To keep my skin and lips from drying out, I love Lanolips 101 Multipurpose Cream and a travel size La Mer Cream.
When I need to go to the bathroom on the plane, I always slip on some disposable slippers that I have taken from a hotel or spa. Airplane bathrooms are notoriously filthy, so I always dispose of the slippers at the end of the flight. Those germs are not coming home with me!
To help me feel a little more myself after a long flight, I always refresh my hair with this Batiste Dark Hair Dry Shampoo, spritz on some perfume (I love Who is Elijah Rebel Rose) and apply some By Terry Brightening CC Cream.
