““It took a long time for Lebanese-Australians to be proud to be Lebanese,” Nicole says. But for her, this wasn’t an issue.
She’s always been very proud to be Lebanese and she has, in turn, passed this pride on to her daughters, now teenagers, who she says also feel connected to their Lebanese heritage.
Nicole regularly shared this on the show. “To me it was very important that my authentic self came through, and so much of me is my heritage.””

Homes to Love: Inside ‘The Real Housewives of Sydney’ star Nicole O’Neil’s grand-meets-cosy home
“For Swedish-Lebanese born star of The Real Housewives Of Sydney, Nicole O’Neil, hosting and homemaking come naturally. And although she has spent much of her life traversing the glove with her husband, Adam, and their two children, Neve and Nawal, it’s her home in Sydney’s east where she loves doing these things the most.
The self-described ‘impulsive’ and ‘passionate’ housewife and beauty brand entrepreneur tells of a home that is at once functional, impressive and relaxed, a place where she gathers with her tight-knit family and friends over a great TV show, a new baking recipe or simply just good food and drink.
We spoke to the glamorous Nicole about her equally glamorous life, how she spends her time in her Sydney pad, and what her future holds now that season 1 of The Real Housewives Of Sydney has wrapped.”

RHOS' Nicole O'Neil spills on why she didn't attend show's reunion
Find out why Nicole O’Neil didn’t attend the Real Housewives of Sydney Season Two Reunion as she spills everything with Yahoo Lifestyle.
“Unfortunately, there was a clash of dates in regards to the reunion. There was never going to be a reunion, so it was only put into the schedule with two weeks’ notice. And I had a long-standing date in the diary that has been in the diary since February.
The producers, Binge, everybody was very well aware of that. And unfortunately, that must have been the only date that worked with everyone else. So you know, I unfortunately couldn’t attend because, you know, as I say, family always comes first.
I wish I could have attended the reunion because I’m not at all ashamed in any part about how I behaved, and I would be very happy to confront anyone who wants to discuss the show with me. I’m happy to answer anyone’s questions about situations or details, and I would have loved to have had my opportunity to defend myself and my position and my behavior. And unfortunately, that just wasn’t the case.”

“My biggest packing mistake? Overpacking. Regardless of how much planning and prepping I do, I always seem to overpack. I tend to have this need to bring something for every conceivable scenario. You just never know when that ball gown will come in handy!”

“Nicole has had moments in her life where she’s been in and out of the workforce. “I’ve worked and I’ve also not worked and spent time with my kids. When I wasn’t working, I was giving time to the school, the parents association, or helping make costumes for a school play – there’s always something to do as a parent.”
She worked in the earlier years of her children’s lives but stopped working through her kids’ teen years. “I was much happier as a person when I was working. I had weekends away from my kids and long nights away. But when I was there, I was much happier because I was feeling satisfied with my day.”
Both women agree that whatever way women decide to raise their children, it should be their choice.
”Women are very quick to drag other women down,” Nicole said.
”I think having lived both sides of the coin, I feel very passionate about it because I can see both sides.” ”

““I had to remind Krissy of how much fun we had during filming, and I think that’s what convinced her in the end. Life’s too short! Being one of seven women chosen to be a Real Housewife of Sydney? What an incredible opportunity! What an adventure!”
And Marsh vowed this season would be different, delving deeper into the women’s family lives and their actual, genuine friendships, rather than just conflict for the cameras.
Asked if they were prepared for The Real Housewives of Sydney to stick around a bit longer, second time around, O’Neil said they’d be taking the show “one season at a time.”
“All we know is we’re proud of our behaviour,” she said.”
