A Swedish and Lebanese Cooking Class at Peter's of Kensington

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to be invited to host a cooking class at Peter's of Kensington!

Since it is so close to Christmas, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to give everyone a little look at our Christmas table. Coming from Swedish and Lebanese parents, I have always grown up with a wide range of traditions - and my mixed cultural heritage becomes very clear at Christmas time.

With a table filled with a mix of Lebanese, Swedish and Australian fare, it's a multicultural Christmas dinner that I hold near and dear to my heart.

At the cooking class, I shared the stories behind the recipes as well as tips and tricks for making them yourself - and even a few tips on nailing the perfect selfie!

I also had my two beautiful girls with me, Nawal and Neve, who helped us celebrate a very important Swedish tradition; St Lucia Day.

The girls were dressed in traditional costumes and handed out traditional St Lucia buns to each of the guests at the beginning of the class - the perfect thing to enjoy with some Swedish Glogg!
