Four FREE Printable Games for your Halloween Party

Halloween is fast approaching and the girls and I cannot wait to celebrate with our friends. If you're planning your own celebration, I wanted to share some of our favourite Halloween party games with you.

They're super easy to put together (I've done all the hard work and made the printables for you!) and so much fun to play. Whether you're celebrating with friends or just want a fun afternoon activity to do with the kids at home, these are sure to be a hit!

Barrel Digging Game

Kids love slimy, gooey, gross things and this game ticks all of those boxes.

Fill each box with different textures and objects. We used:

  • Chattering Teeth - You can use wind up chattering teeth or something that clinks together or feels like teeth in the barrel.

  • Witches' Hair - Find cheap wigs and cut the hair off to fill your bucket - or use straw or shredded tinsel for a cheaper alternative.

  • Live Bugs - Whilst you could use live bugs, it's not our cup of tea! Try fake bugs and dirt or sand instead. Here's a bag of 132 for a little over $10!

  • Crunchy Bones - Try filling your bucket with biscuits or pretzel sticks.

  • Gory Guts - Find the squishiest grossest textures you can find.

  • Slimy Worms - Fill your bucket with cooked spaghetti, mixed with oil to make them extra slimy.

This game can be played two ways - either let kids have fun with the gross textures, or hide some prizes at the bottom that they have to dig around for.

Pin the Bow Tie on Mr Bones

A Halloween twist on Pin the Tail on the Donkey, get the kids to pin the bow tie on Mr Bones. Included below is the Mr Bones Printable as well as a sign and his bow ties. These can be printed on A4 or A3 paper (either at home - or you can have them printed at Officeworks or your local print store).

Pin the Tail on the Black Cat

Another pin the tail on the Donkey twist. Instead of paper tails, try fluffy pieces of artificial fur for your black cats. If you attach your cat printable to a cork board, you can use pins to pin the fabric tails onto the cat.

Pin the Fangs on Dracula

Dracula has lost his fangs and it's up to you to return them! For this game, you can use the fangs for the printable - or use fake vampire teeth (like these!) to stick onto the printable. The choice is yours! Alternatively, use the fake vampire teeth as prizes to give to children after they've had their turn.

With my Halloween Table Setting Ideas, Halloween menu and these free printables, you're ready to party! Wondering what to wear? Don't worry! Next week I'll be digging through the archives and sharing some of our favourite Halloween costumes from previous years.

Until then,

Nicole xx
