The Real Housewives of Sydney Showtime Snack - How to Make an Artist's Palette Cheese Plate Platter

This week on The Real Housewives of Sydney, it's time for AthenaX's big art gallery event.

Whilst I won't be able to live tweet this Sunday (something very exciting is in the works!), I wanted to share an easy put together showtime snack for you to nibble on.

How to Make The Perfect Cheese Platter

Follow my guide on how to make a cheese platter to select the best cheese options for your guests. I found that the palette shape allows you to add 6-8 different cheeses.

Leave them whole or sliced, depending on your party style and cheese types. If you'll be walking around with the platter - cutting each cheese into slices is the best approach - whilst it's fine to leave them whole if the platter will be on a table where guests can help themselves.

For the accompaniments, go with bright colours to fit the art theme - think bright red tomatoes (or beautiful multicoloured heirloom varieties), fresh figs and jewel-toned grapes. Use a mix of crackers (seeded, unseeded and different shapes/varieties) or hearty breads served alongside the platter in baskets or dishes.

Here are some beautiful artist palette platters that I've found. Simply click the picture to find out more or purchase it for yourself.

All you need to do then is arrange your platter, serve and enjoy! Oh and don't forget the jatz crackers if you're making this for RHOS ;) xo
